Search for a license
Section titled “Search for a license”License Number takes precedence when both fields are filled. Name searches do not use partial matching.
- Enter License Number, or leave it blank and enter the exact full Name.
- Select Search.
Choose the correct record
Section titled “Choose the correct record”Match the name and license number, using NPN and location to distinguish similar names. Results show License Type, Qualification, Issue Date, and Expiration Date.
Check current status
Section titled “Check current status”The result has no separate current-status decision. Confirm current licensing and appointment requirements with the official state source and required carrier review.
No match?
Section titled “No match?”Recheck the number or exact full name; clear License Number before trying a name search. Consult the official source if no match remains. An empty result does not prove the person is unlicensed.
