About this guide

Select the Ask AgencyMesh stars icon in the top bar. Use Chat for typed questions or voice, and Writer to polish a message. Your conversation stays available as you move between pages.
Choose text, voice, or Writer
Section titled “Choose text, voice, or Writer”Requires the Agent or Administrator role. Open the relevant record or report before asking about it.
| Item | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Chat — text | Type a question about calls, transactions, messages, quotes, E-Sign, Workflows, goals, carrier references, or training. Supported current-page information is included automatically. |
| Chat — voice | Use the microphone beside Send message to speak with an AI-generated voice. Full answers and source links appear in the same Chat; voice can summarize them aloud. |
| Writer | Polish the text you enter. It uses your text and options, without Chat or page information, and does not send the result. Voice is available in Chat only. |
Ask by text
Section titled “Ask by text”Starter cards send immediately. Missed calls and Transactions ask about yesterday; type your own question for a different period.
- In Chat, type in Ask AgencyMesh a question… Include the office, dates, and result you need.
- Click Send message or press Enter. Use Shift+Enter for a new line.
- Ask follow-ups in the same chat. Use Copy answer or follow the answer’s named app and Help links.
Start or end voice chat
Section titled “Start or end voice chat”Copy or send an unsent question before starting voice. Live speech replaces the text in the Chat input.
- In Chat, click the microphone’s Start voice button and allow microphone access in the browser.
- Wait for Listening…, then speak your question. If Enable sound appears, click it to hear AgencyMesh.
- Click End voice call (the same button becomes a stop icon) to stop the microphone and audio. While Connecting…, use Cancel voice connection to stop setup.
Correct speech and read the full answer
Section titled “Correct speech and read the full answer”Your speech appears in the Chat input while AgencyMesh listens. It is submitted automatically; Send message and Enter will not submit the unchanged transcript again.
Correct a name, amount, or request by speaking again, or edit the text and click Send message. Further speech can replace a typed correction; end the call first if you want to keep typing.
Completed AgencyMesh questions and full answers appear in the current Chat, with source links when available. Use that text for details and qualifications. The spoken paraphrase is not a separate saved answer, and Chat has no audio replay.
An answer can finish after the call ends: Ending voice stops audio, but an AgencyMesh lookup already underway can finish and appear in Chat. Read the conversation before repeating the request.
Ask about the page you are viewing
Section titled “Ask about the page you are viewing”Run the report with the filters you need, then ask in Chat, speak during voice, or select Ask about this page. Supported page information is included automatically. After changing filters, run the search again before asking.
During voice, Updating page context… pauses microphone input while AgencyMesh catches up with a page change. Wait for Listening… before speaking. A question already underway keeps its captured page information.
Make changes on the app page: Chat searches and summarizes; it does not send messages, update records, issue refunds, or complete Workflow tasks.
Ask a carrier question and follow its source
Section titled “Ask a carrier question and follow its source”If the available sources do not establish the answer, check with the carrier. Missing evidence does not establish that a risk is declined or a discount unavailable.
- Name the carrier, product, and state, then include the facts that affect the question: for example driver age, vehicle use, or prior coverage. Name several carriers for a comparison.
- If AgencyMesh asks for a missing fact, answer in the same chat. Open the answer’s named source link or Training Hub > Documents for the guide’s conditions and effective date.
Keep the panel beside your work
Section titled “Keep the panel beside your work”| Item | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Continue Chat | Return from the welcome screen to the current conversation. |
| Close AgencyMesh AI / Escape | Hide the panel and end active voice. A typed answer continues; use Stop response to stop waiting for it, or Check response if its outcome is unclear. |
| Start new chat | End active voice and start a separate conversation, clearing the unsent question. Copy anything needed first; there is no previous-chat picker. Writer is unaffected. |
| Pin panels beside page / Unpin panels | On a wide desktop, keep the panel beside the page or show it as an overlay. The choice also applies to Notifications. |
| Expand AgencyMesh AI / Restore AgencyMesh AI panel width | Widen or restore an unpinned panel when available. |
| Load older messages / Latest message | Load earlier turns in the current conversation or jump to the newest answer. The question buttons return to earlier prompts. |
| Yes / No or True / False | When offered, selecting a reply sends it immediately. |
Resume or recover a response
Section titled “Resume or recover a response”Chat and Writer text can restore after a reload in the same tab and sign-in. Another tab has a separate conversation; a new sign-in clears the working conversation.
Closing the panel, opening Writer, starting a new chat, signing out, reloading, or opening a full new page in the same tab ends voice. Audio never resumes automatically; click Start voice again when ready.
Changing section tabs within the page can keep voice active and update its page information. Wait for Listening… before asking about the new section.
| Item | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Check response | Check the pending question’s outcome before starting another request. |
| Retry question | For a failed or interrupted answer, select Retry question. If it puts the question back in the input, click Send message. Send or clear a different draft first. |
| Session expired / access changed | Sign in again if required. Use Start new chat when the message asks you to begin a new conversation. |
Fix voice connection or audio problems
Section titled “Fix voice connection or audio problems”| Item | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Start voice unavailable | Finish or check a pending Chat response first. Use the secure app at app.agencymesh.app in a browser with microphone support. |
| Microphone denied, missing, or busy | Allow microphone access for the app, connect a microphone, or close another app using it as directed by the message. Then click Reconnect voice. |
| Connected but no sound | Click Enable sound when offered; check your speaker volume and audio output. |
| Connection lost or voice could not finish | Read the current Chat for a completed answer, then click Reconnect voice or continue with text. Reconnect starts a new call in the current conversation. |
| Typed message could not be confirmed | Check Chat history before sending the same message again. |
| Repeated connection failure | Use text Chat and report the displayed message through User menu > Support Chat. |
Ask about text or an existing record
Section titled “Ask about text or an existing record”- Paste the relevant passage into Chat and ask for a summary, explanation, comparison, or missing information.
- For an AgencyMesh record or report, open it and load the relevant results before asking. To ask about a reference document, name it or open it from Training Hub > Documents.
Polish a message in Writer
Section titled “Polish a message in Writer”Stop keeps the existing text.
- Open Writer and paste the text into Your message.
- Choose Tone: Motivational, Direct, Firm, or Professional; Format: Email, Text message, or Talking points; and Language: English or Spanish.
- Click Polish message. The result replaces the text in Your message; edit it if needed, then click Copy. Change the text or options and select Polish message again to revise it.
Keep requests within the limit
Section titled “Keep requests within the limit”Chat messages, voice request transcripts, and Writer’s Your message each allow 12,000 characters. Keep spoken requests focused; break a long request into follow-ups.
By default, voice calls end after 15 minutes, after about 2 minutes without speech or work, or when the connection or sign-in ends. Click Start voice again to continue.
Spoken questions can become saved Chat text. Omit passwords, access codes, private links, and unnecessary customer details from text and speech.
Check an incomplete or unexpected answer
Section titled “Check an incomplete or unexpected answer”Check important names, amounts, dates, and status against the original record. If an answer is incomplete, ask a focused follow-up with the missing details. Report a persistent problem through User menu > Support Chat.
