# Create your company and first account

> Sign up for a new company, add an optional office, and finish team setup.

Use [Sign up](https://app.agencymesh.app/signup) to create a new company and its first administrator. To join an existing company, ask its administrator to create your user account instead.

## Create the account

The signup page shows an expected cost of **$100 per office / month**. Use [Billing](/help/billing-and-invoices/) for the account’s invoice preview and final invoices.

1. Enter **Company name**, **Full name**, **Email address**, and **Password**. The email becomes your sign-in Username and must not already belong to an AgencyMesh account.
2. Choose **Timezone**. It starts with your browser’s timezone when recognized; otherwise it defaults to **America / Chicago**.
3. To create your first location now, select **Add an office** and enter **Office name**. **Address** and **Phone** are optional. Leave it unselected to add an office later.
4. Complete the security check if shown, then click **Create account**. On **Your account is ready**, click **Open AgencyMesh** to open [Dashboard](https://app.agencymesh.app/).

## What signup sets up

| Item | Guidance |
| --- | --- |
| Your account | An active **Agent** account with the **Administrator** role. Account Type and role are separate. [Compare Office and Agent accounts](/help/accounts-and-sign-in/#account-types). |
| Office added now | Saves the office name/contact details and adds you as a member. The office name is read-only in Administration after creation. |
| Office added later | Use **Add an office** on the welcome page. In **New Office**, enter required **Short Name** and **Display Name**, click **Next**, select yourself in **Users to Add**, then **Create Office**. |
| Calling and data connections | The signup **Phone** is the office contact number. Calling phone assignments, AMS/rater mappings, and other connected services need separate setup; signup does not connect them. |

## Add your team and finish office setup

- Use **Manage offices** or [Administration > Office's](https://app.agencymesh.app/administration?tab=groups) > **Manage** for office details and membership. [Office setup](/help/administration-groups-and-zones/).
- Use **Manage users** or [Administration > Users](https://app.agencymesh.app/administration?tab=users) > **New User** for team accounts. Choose **Account Type**, office membership, and roles; then set Agent phone/goal assignments. [User setup](/help/administration-users-and-sessions/).
- Open [Administration > Health](https://app.agencymesh.app/administration?tab=health) to find missing office mappings or recent activity. [Health guidance](/help/administration-options-and-health/#admin-health-read).

## If signup cannot finish

Opening Sign up while already signed in opens your existing account’s welcome page. Use **User menu > Sign out** before creating a separate company.

| Item | Guidance |
| --- | --- |
| Email already used | Click **Sign in** and use that account, or use another email for a separate company. Existing team members should be added through Users. |
| Create account disabled | Complete the security check. If it expired, finish it again; if it could not load, reload the page. An unsupported-browser message means try another browser. |
| Highlighted field or expired form | Correct the named field, re-enter **Password**, and complete the security check again before clicking **Create account**. |
| Account created; sign in to continue | Sign in with the signup email and password. Continue at [setup](https://app.agencymesh.app/onboarding); do not create the company again. |
| Account creation unavailable | Try again later or contact support with the displayed message. |
