# Get office directions

> Get driving directions from the Dashboard office directory, or compare nearby offices in Directions.

Use [Dashboard](https://app.agencymesh.app/) for a route to a named office. Use [Directions](https://app.agencymesh.app/officeInfo/office_directions) to compare nearby offices.

## Get a route from the office directory

The result includes distance, drive time, English/Spanish directions, and **Open in Google Maps** for the same route. **Español** changes the instructions’ language.

The directory lists your company’s active offices, regardless of your assigned offices or top-bar office selection. The destination is the office whose icon you selected; use [Directions](https://app.agencymesh.app/officeInfo/office_directions) to compare closer offices.

1. On [Dashboard](https://app.agencymesh.app/), open **Communications > Directory > Offices**. Search by office name, phone number, or address.
2. Select the turn-arrow icon in that office’s **Directions** column (**Get directions to [office name]**).
3. Enter **Starting address**; choose an address suggestion or enter the full address, then **Get directions**.

## Choose a destination in Directions

Only offices with a saved address are available in **Office**. If an address is missing, Operations or Administrator can add it in [Administration > Office’s](https://app.agencymesh.app/administration?tab=groups).

1. Open [Directions](https://app.agencymesh.app/officeInfo/office_directions), enter **Client Location**, and choose the destination in **Office**.
2. Select **Get Directions** for the selected-office route, map, and nearby-office results.

## Choose a closer office

**3 Closest Offices** compares up to three offices by driving distance, with drive time and directions for each. To make one the main route and map, choose it in **Office** and select **Get Directions** again.

## If a route is missing

If routing is temporarily unavailable, try again later or use the listed office address in your approved mapping service.

| Item | Guidance |
| --- | --- |
| Address suggestions unavailable | Enter the full starting address and select Get directions; suggestions are optional. |
| No route | Correct the starting address and try Get directions (Dashboard) or Get Directions (Directions). The selected-office route may still work if nearby-office results fail. |
| No Directions icon / No address listed | The office needs a saved address. Ask Operations or Administrator to update it. |
| Office no longer available | Close the dialog, use Refresh directory results, and choose an available office. |
